I grew up at the jersey shore, but currently reside in north jersey, right outside of NYC. I’ve always had a deep passion for all things design and creativity. Since I was young, I’ve been fascinated with how things work. As I got older, I was thrilled to learn about the wonderful world of Website Design and Development. In 2017, I became certified in Website Design & Development from the New York Code + Design Academy. My custom Squarespace website package is $4,000 and includes SEO and AI search optimization. If you’d rather start with one of my templates and have me customize it for your business, my semi-custom package is $1,200, or $1,800 with SEO. If you already have a Squarespace site and just want help with search visibility, my standalone SEO service is $800.
For website design projects, a 50% deposit reserves your start date, and the remaining 50% is due when the project is complete.

I’d recommend custom design if you want me to plan and design your website around your services, content, and goals from the ground up. It’s a good fit if you have a specific vision, need a more tailored layout, or want SEO included from the start.
Semi-custom design is a good fit if you already love one of my Squarespace templates and want me to make it feel like yours. I’ll use the template as the starting point and adapt it to your brand, photos, and content. If you’re torn between the two, send me a little about your business and I’ll tell you which one I’d recommend.

Yes! If your site feels outdated, your services have changed, or visitors are having trouble finding what they need, I can help you decide what to keep and what to rework.
Before I start the redesign, I’ll review your available search data to see which pages already bring in traffic from Google. I’ll keep important URLs and content where it makes sense and set up redirects if any URLs need to change. That way, we can give your site a fresh look while protecting the search visibility you’ve already built.

Yes! I can rebuild your website in Squarespace and help you decide which pages, content, and features to bring over. Before making changes, I’ll review your available search data to see which pages already bring in traffic. I’ll preserve important content and URLs where possible and set up redirects for URLs that need to change. If you rely on a specific tool for bookings, payments, or anything else, let me know so I can check how it would work on the new site.

Yes! I research how potential customers search for your services and use that research to guide your page structure, headings, SEO titles, and descriptions. I also look at how clearly your site explains what you do, who you help, and where you work. That information matters whether someone finds you through Google or asks an AI search tool for help finding a business like yours.
If you’re happy with your current design, you can also book my Squarespace SEO service on its own.

Yes! Before I started Websites by Elise, I trained in web development at New York Code + Design Academy and wrote code for a software company. I use that experience to build custom styles and interactive features in Squarespace, from a more useful navigation menu to a layout that goes beyond the standard blocks. I can also help connect tools like online booking and other integrations.

You’ll work directly with me. I’ll send you a short questionnaire and a guide to help you gather your text, photos, and anything else I need before we start. Once the project is underway, I’ll share the homepage early so you can see how the design feels with your actual content and give me feedback before I build out the rest of the site.
My custom website build typically takes about two weeks from your scheduled start date. I’ll confirm the timing with you before you book.

Yes! You’ll have full ownership of your website in Squarespace, and I’ll record tutorials using your actual site. I’ll show you how to make everyday updates like changing text, swapping photos, or updating a service page. If you’d rather have me handle bigger changes down the road, you can reach out for additional support.
